Zelenskyy asks why the Russian military is so obsessed with castration

Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on United Nations members and other international organizations to confront Russian counterparts regarding one of the most horrific acts of violence, which Ukrainian officials previously claimed were committed during the six-month-long invasion. It was recently discovered in Izium.

“Ask the Russian representatives, why are the Russian military so obsessed with castingration,” the Ukrainian president stated in a passionate speech to the UN General Assembly. “What happened to them so they will do this to other people?”

Zelenskyy, in his prerecorded speech called for peace and demanded a “full package of restrictions” against Russia to punish them as a result of the crimes he claimed were committed during the invasion.

The Ukrainian president said, as the assembly was progressing, that the excavation would be completed. Mass burial site at Izium with 445 graves, was in progress and he shared some violent findings in Kharkiv.

Zelenskyy claimed that “the bodies and children of men and women, children and adults as well as civilians and soldiers were discovered there.”

“There is a family that died under the rubble of a house of a Russian airstrike — a father, mother, six and eight-year-old girls, grandparents. One man was strangled with rope. A woman is found with severed ribs, and numerous wounds. He said that a man had been castrated before the murder and that this was not the first instance.” Later, he questioned why Russian soldiers continued to castrate people.

This was not the first report by a Ukraine official about violent acts perpetrated by Russian soldiers against civilians.

A week later, another image was posted online. A skull on a stickOutside of the building taken by the Russian military in eastern Ukraine’s Popasna. Serhiy Haidai (the governor of Ukrainian Luhansk Province) suggested that the skill belonged a Ukrainian prisoner. The Russian soldiers placed the stick on the victim’s head.
