Yuri Milner renounces Russian citizenship as the richest Russian in Silicon Valley

Billionaire investor Yuri MilnerOn Monday, he announced that he had given up his Russian citizenship more than seven years after the start of the Ukraine conflict.

The founder of tech investment firm DST Global made the announcement in a tweet.He claimed that he and his relatives had completed the Russian citizenship renunciation process in the summer. He added that they had “forever” left Russia in 2014 after Russia’s annexation Crimea.
