The Yankees will travel to Cleveland for games 3 and 4 of the Division Series, hoping their offense can find a way to drive a wedge in the Guardians’ pitching party and that their own pitching staff will hold up with the prospect of three games in three days before the ALCS.
“We never thought this was going to be easy,” manager Aaron Boone said. “You know, we’ll get on that plane and go and try and grab one tomorrow. You see, nothing is changing for us. We never expected any of this time of year to be easy, and nothing’s been easy for us this year, especially in the second half of the season.”
