XFL announces new logos and team names in advance of the 2023 season

The XFLThe names and logos for the eight teams participating in the 2023 season of football were revealed.

The Arlington Renegades and Houston Roughnecks, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis BattleHawks. DC DefendersThe XFL title will go to the Orlando Guardians (Sea Dragons), Seattle Sea Dragons (Sea Dragons), and Vegas Vipers (Vipers).

In an official press release Monday, the XFL explained that each team name and logo was selected to align “with its community’s culture and history.”

“We couldn’t have been more excited to announce our new team identities. These team identities were created through many hours of collaboration and creative sessions. Each team’s identity represents the fabric of their local community while also embodying the XFL’s vision and ethos: they are authentic, dynamic, modern and unapologetically bold,” said Dany Garcia, chairwoman and owner. “We can’t wait to see our XFL fans representing their favorite XFL teams this upcoming season.”

He continued, “From the very beginning Dany, Gerry,and I have wanted our fans to receive the best. It is inspiring to see our creative vision become a reality.” We have our cities and rockstar coaches. We now have the opportunity to fill our rosters of hungry, deserving players who will proudly wear their uniforms in XFL pride.

The league has already appointed coaches earlier in the month. These are the heads coaches for each team’s teams:

– Renegades: Bob Stoops

Wade Phillips – Roughnecks

– Guardians Terrell Buckley

– Defenders: Reggie Barlow

The football operations hub for the XFL will be out of Arlington, Texas, at Choctaw Stadium, where the league has “a centralized performance facility and multiple practice venues for preseason and in-week training for the League’s eight teams.”

“This Hub model allows players to access full-time, on site support from coaches and athletic trainer staff while also developing team affinity within their local communities.”

The XFL has revealed its 2023 team names and logos.
