WV Symphony Orchestra will perform Sounds of the Season

The West Virginia Symphony OrchestraSelect venues in the state will host Sounds of the Season, a holiday classic.

WV STATE CAPITAL OBTAINS TREES FROM LOCAL FARMER FOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

Michelle Merrill will be returning as guest conductor for the orchestra from Dec. 2-5. The show will feature selections such as “The First Noel,”” “Deck the Halls”, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” or “The Polar Express Suite,” according to a statement by the orchestra. The music will include vocal numbers by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus, West Virginia State Orchestra Chorus, and the West Virginia State Symphony Orchestra Chorus. University ChorusThe University of Charleston Choir, and the Symphony Chorus of Parkersburg.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra will perform holiday songs from Sounds of the Season in Lewisburg on Dec. 2, Charleston on Dec. 3, and Parkersburg on Dec. 4.

The concert will be held at Lewisburg on Dec. 2, Charleston on December 3, and Parkersburg, on Dec. 4.
