It can be difficult to find solace in times of deep sadness, especially when grieving the death of a loved-one.
But Mara José Sáez Orte, who was grieving, found solace in her.
Orte was extremely upset as she went to visit a close friend who had recently died. Soon after Orte had been sobbing at the grave, a figure appeared and comforted her.
It wasn’t a normal dog. He had become a friend and was always there to help.
In his post, Orte said, “Today, I went to say goodbye to the person I loved the most… and this puppy appeared.”

Numerous readers who read about this meeting after Orte posted it online called the dog his “guardian angel,” and perhaps they were correct. Orte clearly needed this visit the most.
Orte had to leave the puppy that day but he was still in her thoughts. When she returned to the cemetery to look for him, she discovered that the dog had his own “guardian angels.” He was apparently originally a stray but is now being looked after by staff members who feed and shelter him.
Unfortunately, little else is known about Orte. However, it’s likely that Orte was neither the first nor the last person the compassionate dog consoled.
