Angela Simmons saw a sad face looking back at her as she drove through South Carolina in the rain. Simmons was searching for that face.
Simmons was notified by residents from a nearby trailer park that a nice dog had been chained up near a couch at the side of the road. Simmons was able to understand that she needed to contribute.
Simmons saw the dog’s itchy paws and nose as she walked up to him. He was a very active dog who had not been properly cared for. Despite his circumstances, the dog was able to show that he had plenty of affection.
Murphy was eventually given the name Murphy and placed in foster care with Auction For A Kaws. He quickly adapted to the benefits of being a member of a family.

According to a member of the Action For A Kaws staff who spoke, “Once he entered foster care, he proved to be the biggest love bug.”
Murphy finally found joy in his favorite pastimes. He loved driving, cuddling up in cozy blankets and taking walks.
Murphy’s positive demeanour and admiration of all living creatures struck everyone who met him.
“He loves other dogs and is very intelligent,” the staff member said. “He is very eager to learn and has amazing manners.”
Murphy is now participating in a family’s house trial. Murphy will soon receive the love and support he deserves. He used to be alone, watching the cars pass by on his worn-out couch.
