Why Joe O’Dea is going to surprise Democrats and beat Michael Bennet in Colorado on Nov. 8

NEWFox News articles are now available to listen to!

There is a real possibility Joe O’Dea will be the big surprise winner in Colorado on Nov. 8.

The Colorado race’s paralleThis may be the 2021 New Jersey State Senate Race, in which Ed Durr Jr. paid $2,300 to defeat Stephen Sweeney (ex-State Senate President).

Sweeney was a Democrat who had won re-election four year earlier with 59 per cent of the vote. This was after a long campaign in which both sides spent $19million combined.

Durr, an independent truck driver, became mad at New Jersey for not granting him a concealed-carry permit.

Durr deserves no disrespect. His campaign was too muscular to win the election. It is probable that most people who voted in Durr were not sure who he was. They knew who the president of the United States was. New Jersey Senate was – and they were sure they wanted to throw him out. It was “not that guy!” campaign.

To be clear: O’Dea is a much more substantial figure than Durr was in 2021. O’Dea is the CEO of a construction firm that employs more than 300 Coloradans. He won a spirited GOP primary with 54.5 percent of the vote – even though some Democratic PACs They spent money to nominate their opponent, whom they believed would be easier to beat in general.

On primary election night, O’Dea said he would represent Colorado and the country, not a political party. “The Colorado Senate race is a referendum on Joe Biden’s policies and Michael Bennet’s rubber stamp,” he said. “I will work with people of reasonable faith on both sides. I won’t be controlled by any political party. Importantly, O’Dea defined himself as a construction CEO – not a politician or a partisan.

O’Dea is helped by the clear contrast with Bennet. For starters, O’Dea is a fourth-generation Coloradan, while Bennet, moved to Colorado in 1997 after being born in India and raised in Washington, D.C.

Bennet got out of touch with Colorado to show how out-of control he is Fishing license for one dayHe was asked to make an ad promoting him as an outdoorman. Few Coloradans are going to believe that a one-day fishing permit demonstrates a serious commitment fishing, conservation, and the outdoors. Bennet looked like a fake easterner pretending to being a Coloradan.

The challenge for O’Dea is that Joe Biden won Colorado in 2020 with 55 percent to Donald Trump’s 41 percent (the rest went to third-party candidates). In 2020, Colorado had 9.1 percent more Democrats than the entire country.

O’Dea is straightforward about his goals. O’Dea states that he is running to the Senate to lower inflation, reduce wasteful spending, and the debt. He also wants to help America stay safe and secure through support for the police at home, as well as a strong military, and peace through strength abroad.

O’Dea’s story is the classic American Dream success story. As the CEO of this company, O’Dea has built billions of civil construction projects in Colorado that have improved the lives of people across the state. O’Dea represents hard work, and blue collar Coloradans.

Sen. Bennet on the other side is the son and daughter of diplomats. He was born in Chevy Chase, MarylandHe attended an elite private school in Washington, D.C. (St. Albans School), before he went on to attend university. Yale Law School. Bennet represents the eastern elitists that move to Colorado to be cowboys.

However, O’Dea’s greatest advantage is Bennet’s voting record. Sen. Bennet has voted for President BidenNational Democrats 98% of the time.

This means Bennet is responsible for both the rising inflation and the growing recession. He owns rising crime – including in Denver and Boulder – skyrocketing fentanyl deaths, and the open-border southern border. Bennett continues to be angry at schools for indoctrinating students with strange values and ideas. This list could go on.

There is a real possibility that most Coloradans are going to say “this just isn’t working.” At that point, you will have Sen. O’Dea of Colorado in January.

Durr has demonstrated that “not that guy” sentiments can lead to major upsets.
