For their intelligence and cunning, our dogs are deserving of more praise. They picked up on some of the words we speak, such as “outside,” “walk,” “reward,” and others, in addition to picking up new tricks. It’s another matter whether they listen to all or part of what we say. LOL! It’s okay to call it selective listening for now. Hearing works best when there’s food involved. This is something we can all agree upon.
