The app has been bundled with new features, such as the ability to log into the app using QR codes.
You can now sign in with the new sign-in option to access your Steam account. To verify your identity, it uses two-factor authentication credentials that you have stored on your phone. Steam’s QR sign-in option will allow you to see a confirmation page. After you scan the code using your phone, you will be able to see details like a map and the approximate location. This way you can ensure that you are approving your login attempt
The app will ask you if you prefer to use your username or password to log into the app. You can review the Authorized Devices page to verify that your account is not linked to any other devices.
The Steam mobile app now displays all of your games in the Library. Clicking on the cover image of a game in the list will reveal two options. One allows you to download it remotely to your computer, while the other gives you the ability to remove it from your device. You’ll also find improved store browsing for mobile displays, and customizable Steam notifications to notify you of sales, friend requests, and trades.
