I don’t like wall chargers with only one port. I have way too many gadgets at my desk. So for the last four year, I used the Tronsmart Tronsmart Titan plus. The charger has six ports, providing 90W of power. It was perfect for me as I needed more ports to charge my gadgets than the fastest. However, USB PD was gaining momentum so I switched to the Stuffcool CenturionIndian-made charger that features two USB-C or USB-A ports, and can deliver 100W USB PD.
UGREEN was born. The Chinese brand is doing a great job rolling out accessories — I really like its 13-in-1 Docking Station — but its forte is in GaN-based charging tech, and it has a lot to offer in this area. The Nexode series consists primarily of GaN chargers, which can deliver 45W to 65W, 100W and 140W power over USB PD. These traditional wall chargers have between two and four ports.
But what I’m looking at today is the 200W option; this is an absolute monster of a charging station that has six ports and can hit 200W over USB PD — 100W spread out over two USB-C ports — or 195W of total addressable power when all six ports are in use. It’s amazing, and I’ve used the Nexode200W for just over a month.

UGREEN Nexode 200W – What you’ll love
It is not as bulky than other charging stations with six ports. This is what makes the UGREEN Nexode200W so unique. It measures 100.8 x100.8 x 32.2mm in size and weighs only 1.14 lb. The small size of the UGREEN Nexode 200W is down to the use of gallium-nitride (GaN), internal circuitry. It is not portable-friendly, but you can use it as a one-stop charging solution for all your devices.
The power cable is 2m long so it should be easy to connect to walls further away. UGREEN provides a 6-foot USB-C to USBC cable with every box. This cable works with the USB PD3.0 standard, up to 100W. I have not had any problems with the cable in the month that I’ve used it. The nylon braided design adds durability. UGREEN sells this USB-C cable at $11 and it is a good value.
The Nexode 200W has six ports in total — four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The USB C ports are clearly marked with numbers 1 through 4, and the two USB A ports. The USB-C1 & C2 ports can reach 100W more than the USB PD standard. The USB-C3 & C4 ports are rated at 65W. While the USB-A ports have a maximum of 22.5W, they can be used individually or together to provide 20W of power.
The Nexode 200W’s ability to simultaneously power all six ports is what makes it stand out. You can charge multiple devices simultaneously by using all six ports at once, and you can get up 195W maximum power. This is how power allocation looks when all ports are active simultaneously.
- USB-C1: 65W
- USB-C2: 45W
- USB-C3: 45W
- USB-C4: 20W
- USB-A1 + USB-A2: 20W
I was able determine that USB-C ports provided power in accordance with these figures by using several USB-C power meters. The USB-A ports were not measured, but two 10W smartphones were connected to the USB port and charged in the same time. The USB-C ports are compatible with the USB PD PPS standard and I was able charging the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Z Fold 4 without any issues.
You can still get the same 195W power budget if you don’t plan to use the USB A ports. However, the same power budget can be split between the four USB C ports. You can also use three USB-C ports simultaneously to get 65W each. I used the USB-C ports to charge several devices at once — including the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, Pixel 7 ProThe, and Xiaomi 12S UltraIt did a fantastic job charging all the devices simultaneously.
Due to the sheer variety of options available, I won’t get into the power profiles for each option. UGREEN has provided a detailed breakdown that highlights the power budget for each port when it is used:
The Nexode can charge up to two 100W notebooks simultaneously, which is the best thing about it. To do this, you’ll need the USB-C1 or C2 ports. I tested it with two Xiaomi notebooks. Both ports were close to 100W. This is the power budget available when only one or two ports are active:
The Nexode 200W is just like all other charging stations. It has built-in protections against overcharging, voltage protection and I used it with 100W notebooks, wireless earbuds up to 5W, and had no issues.
UGREEN Nexode 200W – What is needed work?
There aren’t many things missing from the Nexode 200W. The only thing that would have made it more appealing would be VOOC charging. The standard is used by OnePlus and OPPO phones, and with the tech now going up to 150W, it would have made sense here.
We haven’t seen any third-party accessories to the VOOC standard and that is unlikely to change.
One other feature that would be useful is a built-in screen showing real-time charging details — this is one of my favorite features of the Shargeek Storm 2 power bankIt is my wish that other manufacturers do the same.
UGREEN Nexode200W: The competition
If you need a charging station with a maximum output of 200W or more, there are several options. The HyperJuice 245W is a good alternative to the Nexode 200W; it has four USB-C ports that individually go up to 100W, and these kick down to 61W when all four ports are in use. It’s also GaN designed and costs $150 less than the Nexode 200W.
UGREEN Nexode200W: Should You Buy It?
This product is recommended if:
- A charging station must be able to charge up six devices simultaneously
- Two USB-C ports must be available that can simultaneously reach 100W.
- A charging station that’s not bulky is what you want
If:
- You don’t use devices that can charge USB PD.
- A charging station is essential for those on a tight budget.
The UGREEN Nexode200W is all I need for a charging station. You can charge six devices simultaneously, and the 200W power supply ensures that you have enough power to power your needs.
The Nexode200W is incredibly portable for the hardware it offers, making it a great choice for traveling. The Nexode 200W is a great option if you have a lot USB PD-compatible devices and need a single charging station that can be used at home and on the go.
