The animal, who was nearly up to her neck in snow, struggled to get out. Two modern-day heroes were able to save the day.

It turned out to be a goat-antelope named a chamois. Two men ran from the train, carrying shovels, to begin the heroic rescue.
They worked furiously, carefully digging until finally they freed the terrified chamois.
According to railway authorities, the engineer at the train saw the animal but the goat wouldn’t move. The train honked several times, but the animal refused to move. The train covered the animal’s neck with snow.
