Twitter is now offering long-form text sharing

Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, announced that Twitter will soon offer a feature that allows users to add long-form texts to their tweets. Announced Saturday. Musk didn’t specify when this functionality would be available but said it would eliminate the “absurdity and notepad screenshots”. Musk stated that additional tools will be developed to help creator monetization, and to improve the platform’s search functionality. “Search within Twitter reminds us of Infoseek back in ’98!” It will also get a lot more efficient. He wrote

Musk made the announcement. NBC News reporter Ben CollinsMusk was quick to point out that Twitter had tested a text-sharing and sharing feature before his takeover. Twitter started putting in place infrastructure to support its users on Saturday Redesigned Twitter Blue subscription. Users will pay $8 per month for the service to verify their accounts and access a few other features such as the ability to upload longer videos and view fewer ads. Musk promised that Twitter would support content creators. However, the company has yet to disclose details about its plans.
