Twitter has begun firing contractors without advance notice: Report

  • According to reports, Twitter fired contractors on Saturday. 
  • Axios received information from contractors who said they learned the truth after being lockedout of their work accounts.
  • Contractors shared their fears about not being able to collect their final paychecks.

According to reports, Twitter began to layoff its contract workforce. Some contractors were notified by losing access to their work accounts. 

Starting on Nov. 4, Twitter — under the New ownership of Tesla CEO Elon Musk — slashed its Half of full-time employees are now part-time.
