Due to the nature of our distributed workforce, and our desire for as quick as possible communication with the affected people, this process will be done via email. Everyone will receive an email with the subject: Your Role on Twitter. Please verify your email and your spam folder.

If your employment is not directly affected, you will be notified via your Twitter account.

You will be notified via email if your employment is affected.

Please email xxxxxxxx to ensure you receive an email notification from twitter-hr@ no later than Friday Nov. 4, at 5 PM PST.

Our offices will temporarily be closed to protect employees and customers. All badge access will be suspended. You must return home if you’re in an office or on the way to an Office.

This is a difficult experience that we all have to deal with, regardless of whether you are directly or indirectly affected. We appreciate your continued compliance with Twitter policies prohibiting you from sharing confidential company information via social media with the press and other outlets.

We are grateful to you for your Twitter contributions and for your patience during this process.

We are very grateful.
