Trump Will Remind Voters Of ‘Unhinged Ways’ via Twitter

  • Alyssa Farah Griffin, cohost of “The View”, said Trump’s possible return to Twitter would be a problem.
  • She said, “It’s going remind voters how unhinged and how much drama he created.”
  • Trump was banned on Twitter last year, and has been using Truth Social for most of 2022.

Alyssa Farah Griff, an ex-aide to the White House, said Friday that she believes it will only be a matter “of days” until former President Donald Trump returns on Twitter.

She made these remarks after Tesla’s sale to Elon Musk, the chief executive of Tesla. However, the ex-aide to Trump warned that Trump’s presence on social media platforms would be detrimental to him.

Farah Griffin — a press secretary to then-Vice President Mike Pence from 2017 to 2019 and the White House Director of Strategic Communications in 2020 — said on ABC’s “The View” that Trump’s vocal opinions on the far-reaching Twitter would contrast sharply to the limited scope that he has on Truth Social, which launched earlier this year.

She stated that social media can bring out the worst of humanity. She has been a cohost on the daytime TV show since August. “There is a lot of great stuff out there, but people succumb to their instincts when they are hidden behind anonymity.”

Farah Griffin stated that democracy had never been “stress-tested” in the digital age. She said that the most close thing she could recall was the attack on the United States Capitol, January 6, 2021. From her perspective, she pointed out that the former president making yet more waves on Twitter wouldn’t be a good thing.

She told the panelists that she thinks it hurts him to be on Twitter. “I don’t think his wild statements get as much attention on Truth Social than they did on Twitter. I was the target of his social media attacks over the last week. No one noticed it — it was like if a tree falls in the woods.”

Trump attacked Farah Griffin earlier this week on Truth Social, saying she was not being truthful. Farah Griffin has been critical since December 2020 when she left the administration.

“Alyssa Farah completely misrepresented her true feelings regarding me and the Trump Administration to get her job as ratings disaster CNN and a seat at The View with the low IQ people,” he stated on social media and in a statement released by his Save America PAC.

“Look at her comments about me. This doesn’t include the lovely letter she wrote and other statements she made. They should fire Alyssa for fraud or misrepresentation. Alyssa, please release the letter!” He continued.

Farah Griffin noted that Trump’s tweets would be interpreted differently, and would again allow voters to see the former president’s technology habits. These were filled with incendiary remarks and political attacks.

She stated that “He’s getting a bigger platform and it’s going remind voters of how unhinged they were, of all the drama he created,” “And it’s going make Republicans answer for everything. It’s not good either for him or his party.”

After Trump headlined “Stop the Steal” rally at the Ellipse where the then-president railed against the certification of now-President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory — which preceded the Capitol riot — he was permanently ProhibitedTwitter.

Musk is expected not to lift any bans permanent on the platform. This would open up the possibility for Trump’s possible return.

The former president had stated earlier this year that it was his intention to Continue to useTruth Social.
