The story centers on a man who tries to reconcile his teenage daughter with his ex-wife. ”A reclusive English teacher suffering from severe obesity attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter for one last chance at redemption,” says a synopsis of the film, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Brendan Fraser portrays Charlie, the main role. Fraser is supported by Sadie Sink and Hong Chau, among others.
After its world premiere at Venice International Film Festival in Venice, the film has been praised by critics and generated even more excitement among the viewers.
The Whale The movie will premiere in theatres on December 9, 2022.
