A wreath was laid on Tottenham’s bench in tribute to Gian Piero Ventrone ahead of their Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Ventrone, who worked as the club’s fitness coach under Antonio Conte, died suddenly aged 61 on October 6.
Ventrone’s passing was met with emotional tributes from all over the club.

And in their first home match since Ventrone’s passing, a 3-2 win over Frankfurt, Spurs paid a poignant tribute by laying a wreath on one of the seats of the home dugout.
Frankfurt also paid tribute to Ventrone with captain Sebastian Rode laying a wreath of their own next to the Tottenham’s.
Spurs made it an unforgettable night with an exciting win over their Bundesliga counterparts.
Their side rose to the top of Group A with a double from Heungmin Son and a Harry Kane penalty that denied Frankfurt.
