Tony Bellew would rather see Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wester than Tyson Fury Vs Oleksandr Usyk.

Tony Bellew is now the latest person to voice concern about a possible Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wester fight. This seems to be gaining momentum.

Saturday night WilderWill return to the ring after being knocked out in his tri-fight with Tyson Fury one year ago. Robert Helenius is his opponent.

‘The Bronze Bomber’ hasn’t even thrown a punch yet since making his comeback and there is already talk about who he will fight next and one name that keeps coming up is Joshua.

They almost clashed in 2018, when Wilder was WBC champion, and Joshua had the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles. But it didn’t happen.

Bellew, who was a former cruiserweight world champion believes that it would be a more interesting clash than a fight between the undisputed champs. Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

“Fury has recently mentioned the possibility of a fourth fight with Wilder and Oleksandr Usyk’s team have also claimed that they’d be interested in facing the powerful American,” Bellew spoke in a column to DAZN.

“There’s also talk of Wilder taking on Andy Ruiz next year, but the fight I want to see is Wilder against Anthony Joshua.

“I still think that’s the best contest that can be made at heavyweight from an entertainment perspective.

Joshua and Wilder could have fought for all the marbles back in 2018, but Bellew still thinks it is the biggest fight in the heavyweight division today

Although Joshua and Wilder could have fought in 2018 for all the marbles, Bellew believes it to be the most important fight in the heavyweight division right now

“Fury and Usyk may have all the belts and potential bout between those two would generate incredible interest due to the titles and prestige on the line, but for an all-out battle, it just doesn’t do it for me the way Joshua vs. Wilder does.

“These are two fighters who’ve proved they are powerful, they both take risks, and there’s plenty of history between the pair as well. It’s nailed on to be a classic.”

It seems that speculation around Wilder vs Joshua may be more than just that, as ‘The Bronze Bomber’s’ manager, Shelly Finkel, recently told FightHype that He was open for negotiationsFor the fight after his clash against Helenius.

“The time will come after this fight, if he’s sincere that Joshua wants it, we’ll make it,” Finkel said.
