Times Square Killer claims to be guilty of 100 ‘perfect Murders’, but experts aren’t convinced

A family man was turned serial killer by “The Times Square Killer,” in a bizarre twist of events. New Jersey’s Torso KillerHe was convicted of several grisly murders that included the dismemberment of many victims and their decapitation.

Cottingham confessed to a shocking confession in an interview with a journalist, decades after his imprisonment. However, not all experts have believed him. 

Fuhrman stated that after waiting 30 years, he finally talks to a female reporter. “The Faulkner Focus.”Friday. “And then he says… there’s a lot of other ones, as many as 80 to 100. Slowly, he finally gives up evidence that a state detective was actually able to connect him with 11 homicides.

“But is there an additional 50, 60 or 70 homicides?” That’s where you need to sort of really examine his entire life,” he said. 

Fuhrman isn’t convinced that Cottingham was a “frequent patron”, of Times Square sex bars and clubs back in the 1960s, 1970s, and killed up to 100 victims despite his “confessions” to the journalist.

Fuhrman stated that it wasn’t because he was smart, nor was it that he planned it. It was simply happenstance,” Fuhrman told Fox Nation. “His MO was all over the place, but now he wants to play the card that everything was calculated, well I think he is probably a madman… I don’t think anything was calculated.”

“I don’t believe that he committed 100 homicides,” He said this in the specialCottingham claimed that Cottingham admitted to the crime because he wanted to “elevate himself” as a notorious killer. 

Cottingham targeted teenagers as well as adults by targeting young women. He often searched Times Square for victims decades before.

He was charged with Many victims of sexual assault were subject to this.Before dismembering them, he even claimed to have hidden body parts following the slayings. 

Fuhrman described two of the murders: “He decapitates his victims, sets them on flame, and leaves them in Manhattan.” “This is where he got the nickname the Torso Killer — and you think the story’s over, but the story isn’t over.”

Cottingham, now 75, is currently behind bars. He was arrested in 1980. Cottingham is currently serving life imprisonment for 11 horrific killings he committed between 1967 and 1980 (the year of his arrest). 

The convictions continue to come.

Medical examiners have determined that Cusick was the victim in cold case murder. She was beat to death outside her Nassau County Green Acres Mall car.

He is alleged to have followed the New York woman to her car before beating her, raping her, and then leaving her body.

Investigators found her bodyHowever, DNA testing wasn’t available at the time. Officials weren’t able to connect Cottingham to this case until they received a tip.  

Fuhrman stated, “You can look at all the scientific data we have now.” It was just work back then. It was talking to people, on the phone and going out. You’ll be amazed at what we did not do when we were younger. These men still slip through the cracks.”
