Elay Tamam, an Israeli soccer player, transformed a moment for celebration into a touching dedication to a pet that he recently laid to rest.
Although Tamam plays midfield for the team Hapoel Rishon LeZion, it seems more likely that he views himself as Sky’s best friend above everything else, who sadly passed away this month. Tamam said the same.
Tamam scored a challenging goal in a Monday game that was broadcast, much to the audience’s delight. Tamam decided to pass the credit to Sky, rather than enjoy the praise.
Tamam removed his shirt to reveal a Sky picture on it, which he proudly displayed in front of everyone.

Tamam was fined for taking off the jersey, which he likely expected. He seemed to believe that the memorial to Sky was worth it.
This is how important he was to his family.
Tamam displayed more than athletic prowess in that time. He spoke of his love for the most sublime.
“Sky, I want to thank you for every second you spent with me, for every lick, for every bark, for every moment of joy, joy, and love,” Tamam wrote in a post to his beloved dog. “You taught me what true love is, unconditional love. I love you the most in the world.”
