Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming film. The Pale Blue EyeChristian Bale stars as the lead in “The Godfather”. The film is adapted from Louis Bayard’s book of the same name, which is set in 1830.

Bale portrays Augustus Landor who is a former detective in police and investigates the death of West Point cadet. Bale discovers that his heart has been taken during the autopsy, which intensifies the suspense.
Bale seeks out a man to help him solve the case, as the cadets remain silent on the subject. The academy is trying to protect its image and wants to keep it that way. The individual, who is known for his keen dislike for the military’s rigours and his love for poetry is none other than Edgar Allan Poe.

Cooper and Bale are partnering for the third film in the Cooper-Bale trilogy. HostilesAnd Out of the Furnace.
Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton and Charlotte Gainsbourg are among the cast. Toby Jones, Harry Lawteys, Simon McBurneys, Hadley Robinson, Timothy Spall, and Toby Jones are also part of the cast. Bale, Cooper, John Lesher, Tyler Thompson and Cross Creek Pictures are the producers. Tracey and Dylan Weathered are the executive producers.
