Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming film. The Pale Blue EyeChristian Bale stars as the lead in “The Godfather”. The film is adapted from Louis Bayard’s book of the same name, which is set in 1830.

Bale plays Augustus Landor (a former police detective who investigates West Point’s murder of a cadet). Bale discovers that his heart has been taken during the autopsy, which intensifies the suspense.
Bale seeks out a man to help him solve the case, as the cadets remain silent on the subject. The academy is trying to protect its image and wants to keep it that way. The individual, who is known for his keen dislike for the military’s rigours and his love for poetry is none other than Edgar Allan Poe.

Scott Cooper directs the film. The short teaser shows Bale against frosty winter and the cold people in the town during his investigation. Harry PotterThe teaser shows Harry Melling as Poe.

Cooper and Bale have teamed up for the third time in this film. HostilesAnd Out of the Furnace.
Gillian Anderson and Lucy Boynton are also cast members. Bale and Cooper are producers, along with John Lesher of Cross Creek Pictures and Tyler Thompson. Executive producers are Tracey Landon and Dylan Weathered.
