Logan Fabrizio, Abigail Fabrizio, and their four-year-old daughter Abigail were stunned to see two beagle pups when they saw the little black eyes sticking out of the weeds.
They speculated that these puppies might be the property of someone local.
The puppies had been abandoned a few days earlier, and they were shocked. They were aware of their obligations.
“We could tell they were abandoned,” Logan Fabrizio said.
After initially tempting the first beagle with a hotdog, the two quickly jumped into action and persuaded the second one to come out. The Fabrizios were able to win the trust of the fearful, untrained puppies.
“You could tell they were very scared,” Fabrizio said.
After the beagles had been safely at home, the Fabrizios bathed them and removed 20 ticks just from their ears.

The couple immediately began to feel a connection with the beagles. They gave them the names Remi & Riley, and then adopted them.
A family that loves them now, just one month after their rescue, makes the beagles more trusting and thankful.
“They are loving it,” remarked Fabrizio. “Hogging the bed, running all over the furniture, and exploring the 10 acres we are on.”
It is starting to be apparent that the beagles have distinct personalities. The pair discovered that Riley is more adventurous and loves exploring and paddle surfing, while Remi is more reserved but still enjoys cuddling and scratching.
The Fabrizios are still unsure of the beagles’ actual origins, but they are grateful that they were able to reunite because the puppies have been a wonderful addition to the family.
Fabrizio stated that “[The dogs]We definitely made some changes in our daily habits and rearranged some priorities. But, overall, I believe our lives have been changed for the better since we found these two.”
