A very rare little dog, Sasha, praised the latest in a series of extraordinary achievements on November 28. Sasha is her name and she celebrated her birthday for many weeks.
It is three months old for most puppies. This is a huge underestimate. Sasha, who is congenital fissured and suffers from hydrocephalus (or congenital fissures), considers every day a blessing.

Sasha became her best friend the instant she met him.
“She has been a contender from the very beginning and has conquered various obstructions in her brief time frame on this planet,” DeMarco said on Facebook. “As her temporary mother, I have stressed and worried, lost heaps of rest, acquired a few new silver hairs, yet none of that matters when I investigate her eyes.”
The little guy is currently a little more than two pounds. This is a reason to be happy, considering the actual pollution she has just survived. Upper respiratory diseases are common for this little guy, who is a result of a congenital fracture. Poor Sasha has struggled for a while.
Due to vomiting, fever, nausea, weight loss, and nasal congestion, she fell. Sasha couldn’t bear to lose a little over a pound.
DeMarco was more worried when Sasha failed to improve despite being given anti-infection drugs. Her body temperature stabilized, and the delicate little guy hadn’t moved yet, with weak paws, and refused to eat.
DeMarco worried that Sasha’s side effect might be hydrocephalus and sent her back to her neurologist.
With the expert’s information and a given everyday schedule of drugs, liquids, and cylinder feedings, Sasha in the end started to come around. Sasha was back to her spunky, snuggly self after her multi-week birthday!
As per DeMarco – who will probably move on from Sasha’s temporary mother to her eternity mother:
“Sasha is exceptionally peaceful and held the little dog. This is not your average dog. She likes to sit directly close to or on top of my foot.”
She also loves to snuggle up with her cat-like roommates, personal salvage–whether they’re greater than her or less!

Update: Sasha was half a year old when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2018. She brought joy and love to her humans and her biological companions-dogs, and cats-in her short time on earth. FURRR 911 has since taken in other separated-range puppies and keeps on keeping Sasha’s memory alive through salvage.
