Steve Davis to remain in charge of Wolves through 2023

Steve Davis will continue to be in charge Wolverhampton WanderersUntil 2023

The Athletic reported that Michael Beale declined the chance to move to the Midlands club. He was their top target to replace Bruno Lage.

Davis is now in charge of the Wolves until after the World Cup. He has won one, and lost one of his two games.

A statement said: “Wolves have confirmed that Steve Davis will remain in charge of the first-team until 2023.

This move will provide continuity and stability for the first-team group while a permanent coach is hired.

“Davis will continue to be assisted by James CollinsTony Roberts and the club will continue to look for additional support in the coming weeks by increasing the number of coaches.
