Lamyai was a poor dog who lived in a makeshift space that was nearly collapsed. She spent a lot of her time under a foundation that was not well built.
The very thin dog was terrified of rescuers. It was evident that she had been neglected. She survived on scraps, dirt, and rocks.
The rescuers tried to get her to return, but she refused. They lured her with food. Lamyai was enthralled by the food and took it. She was then allowed to look around to make sure she didn’t get hurt.
Slowly, the dog emerged. However, she returned to her foundation where she wasn’t sure of what to do. The rescuers managed to get her out with some gentle words, but she was not able to retrieve her.
The dog needed immediate medical attention because she had an advanced skin disease. After an hour, the rescuer managed to wrap the dog in blankets.
Lamyai’s owners made the story sad! That’s when they were told that Lamyai was not their problem anymore! The dog was taken directly to the vet clinic for examination.
The vet immediately put her in an IV to hydrate her and took blood samples. The vet diagnosed severe anima. Because her platelets and blood cell levels were so low, the vet gave her blood transfusions. She is getting better every day. Once she has fully recovered, we all pray that she will find a forever place to call home.
