Stacey Abrams’ group funnels thousands towards director’s relatives and friends who have no political experience

A group founded by Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams is doling out thousands in payments to its director’s family and friends who do not appear to have political experience and maintain other full-time jobs, records reviewed by Fox News Digital show.

Fair Fight PAC, founded by Abrams, is funneling the money to Andre Fields’ longtime aide. Fields acts as the PAC’s political director. Fair Fight spokeswoman said that they were launching an internal investigation into this matter.

Fox News Digital spokeswoman for Fair Fight, saying that Fair Fight aims to be transparent and ethical in all its operations. “We take these issues very seriously and have started a thorough investigation. In the meantime, personnel will remain on leave.

Darius Faulk is Fields’ sister and one of the cash recipients. Federal Election Commission records show that Fair Fight PAC paid Fields more than $120,000 for her training consultant services.

Faulk seems to have almost no experience in politics. According to Hofstra University’s athletic website, Faulk has been working for the women’s basketball team since 2017. She was its director of operations until she was promoted to assistant coach.

Fields’ close friends have also been paid by Fair Fight PAC. Interview with Fields in 2019. Voyage AtlantaFields listed Asa Fludd as a close confidant and Cruz Alvarado as a friend. Both have raked thousands in Abrams’ PAC.

Fludd, as per the filings, has received $29 800 in training consulting payments since 2021. LinkedIn also shows that she has no political experience and works in computer system training. According to her LinkedIn profile Alvarado also made around $29,000 while working in the event sector.

The three received more than $178,000 each from Fair Fight PAC to train their consultants. However, a search of records revealed that they had not received consulting payments from any federal political committees. 

Abrams founded Fair Fight Action — a 501(c)4 nonprofit — in 2018 to address voter suppression in the wake of her loss to now-Governor Brian Kemp. Fair Fight Action expanded its operation in 2019 to include a political arm called Fair Fight PAC.

Abrams has been supported by Fair Fight since 2018 as she prepares for her second attempt against Kemp to win the governor’s seat.

Fair Fight PAC Private security services based in Atlanta company Executive Protection Agencies (EPA Security) over $550,000 between July 2021 and November 2021 and more than $1.2 million over the course of the year, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

Abrams was criticized for her private security payments. Critics cited her opposition to “privatization” of justice and past support for gun control.

Abrams is trailing Kemp in polls and Abrams’ campaign has been a struggle.

A September Fox News poll showed Kemp leading Abrams by seven points, with independent voters breaking for the Republican incumbent by 12 points.

Georgia Democrat Abrams refused to concede the race for Kemp and accused him in voter suppression during his time as secretary of state. Abrams admitted that she does not have any empirical evidence to support the claims.

Fair Fight didn’t respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
