Can the Arizona Cardinals improve their 2022 season? The Cardinals won a crucial win over the Saints last Thursday and will now face the NFC North-leading Vikings. Minnesota is a slight favorite to avenge their 34-33 loss against the Cards in 2021.
DeAndre Hopkins and the Cardinals are back. At least, that’s what the Cards hope is the case as they get ready to travel to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX for the Vikings. The star wide receiver’s 10-catch, 103-yard performance in Week 7 led the Cardinals back into the win column and back firmly in the mix for an NFC West title. They’ll need to be extra sharp on both sides of the ball on Sunday when they take on the Vikings, who will have had an additional week to prepare.
Minnesota’s extra week of preparation came from a Week 7 bye. Hopefully, the additional time off doesn’t stop the roll they were on for the Vikings’ sake. When Minnesota takes on Kyler Murray and the Cardinals, it’ll have a chance to notch its fifth win in a row for the first time since the 2017 NFL season.
