Soviet sci-fi film Atomic Heart launched in February

Focus Entertainment and Mundfish have announced the announcement Atomic HeartThe game will be released on February 23, 2023. On Wednesday, the Cyprus-based developer of indie games released a trailer for the first person shooter. This gave fans a brief tour of a sci fi world set in alternate Soviet Union Russia in 1956.

In Atomic HeartAfter defeating Nazi Germany in 1941, most Soviet labor is now being done by AI robots. Professor Dmitriy Schenov created neuro-polymer which would link humans with robots and allow people in the USSR, thanks to the Collectiv Neural Network, to remotely control the robots by 1955. By the time the game begins, the KGB sends special agent P-3 to investigate an abandoned robot factory called Facility 3826, only to discover that it’s being overrun by robots on a murderous rampage due to a global system failure.

Fully autonomous robots will require players to be strategic with their gameplay. They will have to adjust their fighting style according to the enemies they face. If they are spotted by another robot, they can use hacking techniques to avoid being killed.

Atomic HeartIt was revealed for the first time in 2018 with very few trailers and details from Mundfish. It’s said to be a combination of BioShockAnd Fallout because of how twisted the alternative reality of Soviet-era Russia is, and because of the robots rebelling against their creators and causing mayhem, but Mundfish CEO Robert Bagratuni told IGNHe compared it to the moment he said it. Atomic Heart will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
