Sony will be updating its entire line of wireless earbuds, including multipoint connectivity. This update will begin in the next few months. This feature eliminates the need to switch between different audio sources when using Sony’s wireless earbuds.

Multipoint connectivity is useful for connecting headphones to multiple audio sources simultaneously. You can switch Bluetooth connections to your phone from your tablet or laptop without disconnecting your earbuds.
A firmware update will bring the new features. When it becomes available, you can access it via Sony’s Headphones Connect application.
Sony has also unveiled an “Earth Blue” variant of the LinkBuds. The company claims parts of the new model’s frame and case were constructed from recycled water bottles. It comes in a marble pattern, and it costs $200. Sony Electronics and Amazon will release the new color option in the United States at the end of the month.
Sony also launched the LinkBuds UC Microsoft Teams version, a special edition of the first-generation LinkBuds. You can use tap gestures to perform various operations, such as muting the microphone by tapping the right-earbud three times, or using a wide-area tap. Retail price for the LinkBuds UC is $250
