Some people accept daylight saving time. Even when it’s only 7 p.m., they make statements like, “Oh, we get to sleep in an extra hour.” When that time comes, everyone is worn out and ready for bed. And! They then awaken at four in the morning because their pets have stomachs that aren’t aware of the passage of time. How could one minute be so chaotic?

Tito screams, “MOM! I’ve been in bed!” He doesn’t want to go to bed; he just wants to sleep, but his mother won’t stop asking him. He’s already in bed. Why isn’t Mom in bed, exactly? Tito is likely to share our absurd view of daylight saving time. He would rather have as many warm naps and feel normal as possible. The spring can awaken us all.
