In “Bigg Boss 16,” actor Shalin Bhanot said he wouldn’t be alive now if it weren’t for the dog he saved during the pandemic.
In the video, a visibly moved Shalin tells Priyanka how she found an abandoned dog in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar and saved it. He says that he wouldn’t have survived the pandemic without Swag, his dog whom he affectionately calls him.
He confessed to being in a dark time in his life at the time that the pandemic struck. Priyanka encourages him to share his story. He dispatched an ambulance to the rescue and planned for the dog’s return during the first lockdown, which was mandatory.
Shalin explained that even though he never had a passion for animals, he felt lonely living in his Mumbai home alone. His new pet dog, Shalin, was not in the best of health and so he became happy to have another family member.
The actor described how he searched the web for every detail and felt it was his duty treat his dog and care for him. The dog saved his life in many ways, he claimed.
