Rutgers’ football program dismissed its offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson on Sunday, the school announced. Greg Schiano stated that Nunzio campanile, the tight ends coach will take over as interim offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
“This was a difficult decision, but I believe it is in the best interest of our program to make a change at offensive coordinator,” Schiano said in a statement. “I want to thank Sean for his hard work and wish he and his family all the best in their future endeavors.”
The Scarlet KnightsThey are currently 0-3 in Big Ten (3-3 overall) after three straight losses. The most recent loss was to Nebraska (14-13), in which the team had difficulty moving the ball.
