Geno SmithHe completed 20 of 27 passes for 210 yard and two touchdowns, his fifth multi TD game this season. The Seahawks won three of their four games and have a half-game lead over the NFC West. Jason Myers also added three field goals.
Seattle was leading 17-0 in the final quarter. This was its largest lead after 15 minute since a win. New OrleansIn Week 13 of 2013. It was the Seahawks’ biggest road lead at the final game of the season since 2000.

It was the third consecutive week. Chargers (4-3)They fell behind by double figures in the first quarter. They rallied against Cleveland, Denver, but couldn’t pull it off again and lost their three-game winning streak. Los Angeles now trails Kansas City by just one game in AFC West.
Justin Herbert33 of 51 threw for 293 yards, with two touchdowns & an interception. It was the second consecutive time in his career that he had thrown at least 50 pass in consecutive games. Austin Ekeler had 127 yards of scrimmage (96 receiving, 31 running) and two touchdowns. He now has eight in the last three games.
Mike Williams had seven receptions, totaling 86 yards and a touchdown.
After Rashaad Penny’s season-ending ankle injury, Walker assumed the role of Seattle’s running back starting in Seattle. With 4:17 left in the first quarter, five plays after Ryan Neal took out Herbert, Walker went 12 yard off the left guard to increase Seattle’s lead to 14-0.
The game was tied at 37-16 after the second round pick made a 74 yard sprint down the right sideline.

DK METCALF, JC JACKSON BOTH LEAVE SEAHAWKSCHARGERS GAME OVER KNEE INJURIES
Goodwin’s first game with the Seahawks since 2018 when he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers, was this his first multi-TD game. Goodwin was in his first season as a Seahawks player and had six catches of 79 yards. He saw increased time after DK metcalf suffered a knee injury during the first quarter, while Tyler Lockett was limited by a strained hip.
Seattle took a 7-0 lead in the second quarter. Goodwin beat Asante Samuel Jr. in defense and threw a 20 yard pass in the right corner.
With 1:40 remaining in halftime, the Seahawks had extended their lead to 24-14. Goodwin outjumped JC Jones for a 23 yard score.
Los Angeles was within 17-14 when Los Angeles scored touchdowns on consecutive drives. Ekeler ran 7 yards and Williams caught Herbert’s 13-yard pass to bring the Chargers within one yard of a field goal.
The Chargers received their first safety since the 2020 season. Sebastian Joseph-Day, Troy Reeder brought Walker down to the end zone in the fourth. This brought them within 27-16.

INJURIES
Seahawks: LB Nick Bellore, OG Phil Haynes sustained concussions in the second half. DT Poona Fore sustained a foot injury during the first quarter, and didn’t return.
Chargers: CB JC (Chargers) Jackson was injured in the knee on Goodwin’s second touchdown. He was fitted with an air cast, and then carted off. … Chris Rumpf II, LB Chris Rumpf II suffered a hip/knee injuries during the fourth quarter. Williams was injured in his ankle during the fourth quarter.
