The Civil District Court of Orleans (La.), filed the lawsuit. On Friday, Darnell Greene, a plaintiff from Harris County, Texas, was admitted to the hospital following Kamara’s alleged assault. The complaint states Greene has “received continuing medical care” and will need to undergo multiple surgeries for the injuries he sustained in the alleged attack.
In February Las Vegas police arrested Kamara just hours after playing in the Pro Bowl on Feb. 6 and charged with battery “resulting in substantial bodily harm.” The incident occurred the night before the Pro Bowl at Drai’s After Dark club in the Cromwell Casino. According to the police report, Kamara pushed Greene before another male in Kamara’s group punched Greene in the face and knocked him against the wall.
