Too often, pet owners find themselves forced to give their animals shelters due to their landlord’s ban or unexpectedly losing their housing. The dog doesn’t understand why they are at the shelter. This is distressing for both owner and dog. One dog experienced this recently and is eager to find a new home.
Kaiko, a Pit Bull who was surrendered to Orange County Animal Services, Orlando, Florida was featured in the video by @aharrisphoto. This guy claims in the video that Kaiko’s owner gave him up because they had to give up their house and were no longer able to care for the dog. How awful! We feel awful for Kaiko and his previous owner since we can’t imagine having to give up our beloved pets. This must have been a difficult decision.
Many people wish Kaiko luck as they search for a new owner. We hope someone will come along soon to adopt him as @gabrielleried tweeted, “Hoping he gets a home soon!” and @reneenaynay68 added, “Amen…please someone save him.”
Others asked their TikTok friends to adopt the dog. We’re sure someone will see this dog and decide they want to take him home, as @its me abs and @lizzyjo3232 mentioned in their TikTok comments: “Let’s get him a home TikTok!” and “Let’s help this baby!”
We would prefer Kaiko wouldn’t have to stay at the shelter any longer but we truly regret that Kaiko and his owners are going through such difficult times. He needs cuddling and warmth!
