Ronna McDaniels, RNC Chairwoman, appears to have enough votes to re-elect herself amid rumors of challengers

Fox News Digital has obtained a letter originally circulated from Richard Porter of Illinois by the Republican National Committee. The letter revealed that McDaniel is supported by more than half of current RNC members. This allows McDaniel to weed out any competition for the top position and gives her the support she requires to defend it. McDaniel announced Monday her candidacy to run for a fourth term of two-years.

“We, the Republican National Committee’s undersigned members, are proud to endorse your re-election bid as Chairman.” The letter stated, “These are perilous Times and the Biden presidency, supported by the extremist consensus among them,” Democrat Party elitesOur country has been, will continue to be, and is a disaster because of corrupt elected officials. To restore, preserve and protect the United States of America, we believe that we need to elect a Republican president and more Republican senators and House members in 2024.

The letter concluded that “We are confident that you have the skills and integrity to face the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of our times.”

Despite losing the midterm race against Democratic Governor. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.), Zeldin was praised within his party for running such an tight race in blue state New YorkIt encouraged people to run for the RNC’s highest position.

Zeldin stated Thursday that he was seriously considering McDaniel.

Zeldin has yet to make an official announcement about his candidacy for the position.

South Dakota Governor is also being considered for the RNC job. Kristi Noem (a former Trump high-ranking official) and Mercedes Schlapp (an ex-top Trump official). Official White HouseMatt Schlapp, the American Conservative Union’s head.
