Roku now has its own line for smart home products. These include Floodlight Cameras, Indoor and Outdoor Cameras. Indoor Camera 360-degrees. Video Doorbells. Chime. Smart bulbs (white, color), Smart Light Strips.
Roku is most commonly known for its streaming business offering its own range of TVs and dongles. The company states that Roku Smart Home is a “natural extension that brings the value, choice, and ease of use that consumers have come to love from Roku to the connected home.”

Roku TV OS integration will be available on this new line of smart home gadgets. Roku TV OS users will be able to see who’s at their door when they watch their shows or movies. Roku’s voice remote can also be used to bring up your camera feeds. Roku claims that its smart home series is compatible with third party voice recognition and Roku Voice.
Wyze and Roku have also partnered to bring you the new smart home series. Roku has partnered with Wyze to make it easy for consumers to connect smart home devices and get the best experience. Roku Smart Home Series features two-factor authentication and user data encryption. Roku’s inaugural line of smart home products has also received ioXT Alliance certification which is the global standard for IoT security.
Walmart will exclusively sell the Roku Smart Home product line. This is a way to provide customers with low-cost technology that simplifies or enhances their daily lives.
Roku Smart Home cameras begin at less than $27, with the full range of products offering value and choice for customers. The Roku Smart Home App for Android or iOS is available in this new series. It also includes a subscription plan that includes cloud video recording, smart alerts and package delivery notifications. Roku Smart Home products are available online at Roku.com and Walmart.com starting today. These smart home devices can be purchased in-store at Walmart starting October 17.
