FIRST ON FOXHouse Oversight Committee Republicans want information from the FBI regarding Hunter Biden’s business partnershipto the Chinese Communist Party, and her successful infiltration of President Biden’s family affairs, which they claim jeopardizes our national security.
James Comer, R-Ky., sent a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray Wednesday morning stating that committee Republicans have documents that “reveal Hunter Biden’s business partner and close personal associate was linked to the Communist Party of China (CCP), her employer before the Biden family.”
Republicans claim Hunter’s partner JiaQi “Jackie”, Bao, gave information to the president’s son on how to buy natural gas in the U.S.A and then sell it to China. Documents also show that Bao had direct access to financial information of the Biden family and collaborated closely with CCP agents.
“After infiltrating Biden’s family, Bao advised Hunter to encourage Joe Biden into running for president months before the announcement was made. The Biden family was suppliedCampaign advice related to China,” Comer wrote.

“Media reports and documents reviewed by Committee Republicans suggest that Bao and Hunter’s relationship extended beyond professional obligations — a common tactic employed by Chinese intelligence agents. Committee Republicans are concerned Hunter Biden may have been compromised by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and foreign intelligence services (FIS). Due to the interconnected nature of the Biden family’s finances and business dealings, this type of access would jeopardize U.S. national security,” Comer added.
Bao’s Tsinghua University graduate is alarming, as it is a “recruiting centre for China’s intelligence service,” according to the letter. She also worked for the National Development and Reform Commission of the PRC.

Republicans claim to have documents showing that Bao worked with CCP-linked employees. Hunter is connectedOnce he began to communicate with CEFC China Energy (a top Chinese energy company), he was able to make a connection.
Bao to Hunter’s email stated, “My job is to ensure our interest is protected” in relation to a possible energy purchase.
Bao also gave Hunter maps of U.S. gas-producing areas, which were used by the Republicans to “execute financial transactions.” Although the Biden/CEFC collaboration was cut short in 2018, when the Chinese partners were arrested for bribery. However, Bao tried to stay close to Hunter.

“Bao’s efforts to remain close to the Biden family following the CEFC venture collapse raises serious concerns about Bao’s motives and plans with the Biden family,” the letter said. “Specifically, was the CCP pushing Bao to continue selling American LNG to China?” This presents a serious national security threat.
Comer stated that lawmakers are also concerned about Special Agent Timothy Thibault’s “ignorance of information about the Role Bao played in Biden Family Business and whether or not national security was compromised.”
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has expressed concern that Thibault might have improperly influenced criminals investigation into Hunter.
“In fact, I have information that shows Thibault’s political partisanship goes much deeper than the inappropriate posts on social media,” Grassley wrote to the Justice Department in July. It had an impact on his decision-making regarding sensitive public corruption investigations. A concern is that Thibault’s political views, as per Justice Department and FBI policy, may have affected the investigations of senior Justice Department officials and FBI officers.
