New England PatriotsMultiple reports claim that quarterback Mac Jones was injured in the ankle after Sunday’s loss to Baltimore Ravens.
Jones will reportedly have an MRI performed on Monday to confirm his diagnosis. Jones’ ability to continue work will depend on the severity of his injury.
Jones was hurt towards the end of game and was left hobbling when he got to the sideline. Ravens defensive end Calais CampbellAfter a throw, he landed on him.

Dr. Matt Provencher, NFL on FOX’s injury analyst, says the high ankle sprain could have Jones out two to four weeks.
Jones sustained an ankle strain to the same foot just prior to the Senior Bowl. University of Alabama. He is not yet on the Patriots’ injury report.

It wasn’t the best of games for Jones prior to the injury taking place. Jones threw three interceptions but no touchdowns. The game was close. He went 22-for-32 for 321 yards.
Jones was able to score with his feet, though, when he scored a touchdown while rushing. Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris, the Patriots’ top two running backs, each had a score, too.
Brian Hoyer, a veteran quarterback, is Jones’ backup in case Jones is injured.

The 36-year-old was a Pats player for two seasons. He only made his debut in one game. He was 15-for-24 with 130 yards and no touchdowns during the game against Kansas City Chiefs in 2020.
Hoyer is currently 16-23 years old when Hoyer starts his career.
