Report says Elon Musk wants Twitter’s edit button to be free for everyone

Twitter will soon start charging users $8 per month for verification. However, Elon Musk plans to offer all users the long-awaited edit button for free. According to  Casey Newton, The move is underway alongside the Musk has shown Tuesday changes to Twitter Blue

For now, Twitter’s edit button is only available to subscribers in the Twitter Blue costs $4.99 per month and is available only in the United States, Canada and Australia. Users have a 30-minute window in which to update their tweets.

Musk so far hasn’t publicly talked (or tweeted) about his plans for the edit button since taking control of the company. However, the feature was one the first Twitter-related topics.
