Louis argues in his lawsuit that John “has sought to seize control of his father’s estate and to completely exclude” him, the suit says.

“John’s corrupting effects have had the effect of utterly frustrating [Louis] Angelos’ intentions,” The suit was added. “John intends to maintain absolute control over the Orioles — to manage, to sell or, if he chooses, to move to Tennessee [where he has a home and where his wife’s career is headquartered] — without having to answer to anyone.”

According to the suit, Georgia also wants to sell her team when her husband is unable to work.

A move is unlikely especially given the circumstances Maryland’s legislature has allocated $1.2 billion for Camden Yards improvements.

Also, the Angelos family would likely not put the team up for sale, if at all, until Peter dies. If there were to be a sale of the Angelos team before that, it would likely cost the Angelos’ family a lot in taxes. Georgia will have complete control of the team without any tax.
