After being involved in an accident collision between Alexandre Lacazette and Moussa Debele, a Ligue 1 referee was injured.
During the clash between former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette and ex-Fulham striker Dembele, Lyon‘s defeat at Rennes.
However, Lacazette and the Lyon frontman were caught in crossfire.
Dembele (6 feet) also plays for Lyon and charged through the middle park while his team tried to hit Rennes on break.
The referee was not in the Frenchman’s path so he was cut by the Frenchman before sliding into Lacazette.
Both hit the deck and Dembele remained steady as he sat down.
Lyon went on to lose the tie 3-2, with former Gunners star Lacazette’s two goals not enough to beat the home side.
Aside from going home empty-handed and being bulldozed over by his teammate on Sunday, Lacazette’s had a decent start to the season since returning to his boyhood club.
After signing this summer, the former Premier League striker scored six goals in his 11 appearances for France.
