A pro-life woman stated that she was outraged at the way she was featured in Pro-choice advertisingHillary Clinton, the former Secretary-of-State, and Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom supports a proposal to include abortion in California’s State Constitution.
In an open letterOn Oct. 20, Macy Petty posted to her Twitter account, excoriating Clinton, Newsom, and others behind the ad. She claimed that they were using her image to promote “demonic activities”
The video disseminatedBy Clinton, Newsom, and many other depicts Macy Petty falling to the ground in pain outside the Supreme Court. This was after the June announcement that Roe V. Wade had been overturned. The word “sad” was superimposed on her image, indicating that Petty’s emotional reaction was one characterized by devastation and not joy.

“Hey Hillary, I’m the girl crying in this video,” pro-life activist Macy Petty tweeted at Clinton on Oct. 20. “I am pro-life, and those are HAPPY tees because I just witnessed a miracle!”
“I’m part of a generation of pro-life activists,” Petty The Christian PostIn an interview published Friday. “My mom worked in a pregnancy centre, and my grandma founded one. So it’s in my blood. And I was just so grateful to be there to witness it because there are so many people who were in the fight before me who didn’t get to witness it.”

Petty stated to the faith-based outlet she was outraged by the ad, but that her open letter demanding her removal from the video must have been received. She is not in the latest version. Her face is visible in the video that Newsom and Clinton shared via social media.
Petty wrote to Clinton and the video makers, alleging that the footage “portrayed” her in an evil light, and distorted her emotions as part of your political game.
Many people waited outside the Supreme Court for the Dobbs ruling.

Petty continued, “You chose the portion in which you fell to my knees and wept,” Petty stated. “At that moment, I witnessed an amazing miracle. I was overwhelmed. As I witnessed history, I thought how fortunate I was. I thanked the Lord, for allowing me to see the evil of abortion. This was what brought me to my knees.
Petty continued, “I will not sit by as you use your face, my tears and my passion in order to promote demonic activity.” She also demanded an explanation.
The California Democratic PartyFox News Digital requested information from, the company that paid for the advertisement, but he did not respond immediately to Fox News Digital’s request.

The advertisement promoted Proposition 1 in California, a ballot measure which would enshrine the right to abortion in the state constitution. Proposition 1 has been adopted. They were met with bipartisan oppositionCalifornians claim that the language is too broad and would allow for abortion of viable babies.
