It was more than a year later Amazon shared a trailer. Good Night Oppy. The upcoming documentary will recount the story of NASA’s Opportunity rover, or Oppy as it was lovingly known by its creators. Ryan White directed the documentary.Angela Bassett (right), best known for her roles as Angela in Black Panther Get in touch, providing narration. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab helped with the project, sharing archival footage and knowledge of the rover’s mission.
Opportunity was one among two NASA rovers that landed on Mars’ surface in 2004. Initial plans for a 90-day mission were changed to a 15-year journey exploring the Red Planet’s surface. The rover revealed that Mars once had a moon. And even broke the record! . It also sent messages. . Good Night OppyThe limited theatrical run will begin on November 4th, and it will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting on November 23rd.
