They were taken to safety by a neighbor who called a local rescuer. She offered food and water while she waited for help. It’s devastating, because the mother was already on the verge of death.
They were taken to an animal shelter. They are a group of stray dogs and their mother was badly injured by a skin condition. All her puppies are strong and healthy.
The mother is fully recovered and can now be found with her children at their sanctuary. Both are in good health and doing the things they love together. Although it was initially difficult, it quickly became uplifting.
