NYC Total Crime is up 28%

In 2005, a manhunt was launched. New York CityTuesday morning: A suspect is charged with shooting three people in succession, and two of them were killed in just 16 hours.
Police say Sundance Oliver is extremely dangerous and armed. He allegedly killed two of his associates, while the third victim was an innocent bystander.
According to police, the first shooting took place at 9:30 AM Monday. It was a robbery that began near Bergen Street in Crown Heights. Police say that the man grabbed the jacket and phone of a woman and pulled out a gun, shooting her as she tried to flee.
According to police, the bullet struck the leg of a 96-year old man who was sitting in a chair at a nearby bus stop. The victim was taken to hospital and is expected to recover.

Police said to NBC 4 the suspect, later identified as Oliver by authorities, was well-known and knew the woman he allegedly robbed. This was not an act of violence by chance, according to police.
Oliver killed a Lower Manhattan man just hours after fleeing the initial scene. A 21-year old man was shot in the leg and chest multiple times during this incident. It happened around 3:00 p.m., near St. James Place’s Smith Houses.Â
Oliver fled this scene too.

The victim was taken into hospital, but he would not survive.Â
The third shooting occurred at midnight in Brooklyn’s Kingsborough Houses. A woman was hit in the chest and taken to a hospital where she later died.
