Pixel 7 owners will be able to test Google’s Clear Calling feature in beta

Google notes that Clear Calling availability is dependent on your cellular or WiFi connection and that Google doesn’t collect any call content. Beta also includes a toggle to allow voice calls over 5G, and some cosmetic interface improvements.

If you don’t want to beta-test a patch, you will have to wait longer. The final QPR1 release won’t be available until December. Clear Calling is not yet available on non-Google devices. Google may make Pixel-first features available elsewhere, but some are more exclusive. If you have an Android third-party device, you might be required to watch the proceedings.
