Baruck is a gentle pitbull who has always had a big heart. However, he has never been a cat lover. Baruck seemed to hate cats, for whatever reason.
However, all that has changed in a flash.
Stefany Antico, Baruck’s owner, returned home to an unusual situation the other day. The kitten, who looked lost and desperate, had appeared on Antico’s roof. Antico stepped in to lend a helping hand.
“I don’t know how he got there or where he came from, but we rescued him and brought him into the house,” Antico told The Dodo.

Antico didn’t plan to retain the new, small house guest for very long, thus Baruck initially showed the expected suspicion toward him. However, Antico returned from work to discover that the cat had already been adopted — by none other than Baruck himself — after spending a few days looking for a new family to take him.
“My dog really did adopt him,” Antico said. “Now, they do everything together.”
And with that, Antico’s plans to locate the kitten a permanent home were abandoned.
He had one in his mind already.

Antico and Barack’s lives, as well as the life of the small cat, have improved as a result of what started as the finding of a homeless kitten on their roof.
“It was something I did not expect,” Antico said. “It’s been very comforting, even more so because people have a lot of prejudice against pit bulls. They’re actually very loving.”
